These photos are part of an unique exhibition of the Queen and members of her family and household. The photos are inspired by 17th Century painting where a black background was used to show the rich detail and color of ceremonial robes. Many of the titles and robes are centuries old and reflect the long and rich history of the British Monarchy. Very different to today’s celebrity shots!
Mirrors were used to capture the four different profiles in the one shot. All photos were taken by Hugo Rittson Thomas.
